A Note to Adopters: Due to her breed's specific needs, we are accepting applications only from individuals or families who have successfully owned and trained a Belgian Malinois previously.

Malinois are not a breed for novice owners. They are bred to work and possess an extremely high energy level, a strong drive to work, and protective instincts. They require an active lifestyle with several hours of rigorous physical and mental exercise daily (running, agility, advanced obedience) to prevent boredom and destructive behaviors. Early, consistent, and positive socialization and training are non-negotiable for a well-adjusted adult Malinois.

Delta needs an experienced handler who understands how to channel her powerful herding and protective instincts into appropriate activities, ensuring she becomes the confident, well-balanced companion she is meant to be.
